Handmade Polymer Clay Millefiori Beads - Multicolored Flowers - 8mm - Set of Ten

A beautiful set of ten polymer clay millefiori floral beads designed and handmade by Jenn Ross. Use these unique beads for your own jewelry, textile, artwork or other creations.

Coin is shown for size reference. Beads have been strung on wire, string or nylon thread with small accent beads.

These beads are made completely from polymer clay and are lightweight and incredibly durable. Each tiny flower on the beads has been designed individually using the millefiori canework technique adapted for polymer clay. Millefiori is the Italian word for "thousand flowers" and the technique was traditionally incorporated in hot or blown glass design. No stickers, decals, paints or inks were used, and the flowers will never rub off or fade. They're even waterproof!

These beads measure approximately 8mm in diameter. Holes are 1 mm in diameter. Holes were drilled after curing, and will accommodate string, nylon thread, small gauge wire or pins. All efforts have been made to insure they are as consistently shaped as possible, but their shape may vary slightly due to being completely handmade. Beads were meticulously sanded, buffed, and coated with several layers of gloss to enhance smoothness and color.
