Each tiny flower on the pen has been individually constructed out of polymer clay using the millefiori caning technique. Each one takes literally hours to construct. No stickers, decals, paints or inks are used. Once several layers of clay canes have been applied, the pen is cured, sanded smooth, buffed to a high sheen, and finished with several coats of gloss to enhance color and details. The result is a strong, durable, comfortable and permanent covering that will never chip or fade.

The pen itself is a Bic Round Stic with black ink; a popular, best selling pen. When the ink is spent in your pen, simply remove the old cartridge (gently, with a pair of plyers) and replace it with another. Do the same if you'd like to change the color of the ink in the pen. Refills can be purchased online or harvested from another plastic Bic pen.
